Kashmir University scientist suspended after his arrest in a rape and cheating complaint

A scientist at University of Kashmir has been suspended after his arrest in a sexual assault case. Police said the accused was taken into custody following allegations by a woman in her 30s of long-term exploitation and abuse. The university confirmed his suspension pending investigation, while a rape case has been registered and further probe is underway.
