Karnataka: Ex-MLA Raje Gowda moves SC challenging vote recount in Sringeri

Former Congress MLA TD Raje Gowda has approached the Supreme Court. He is challenging a High Court order for a recount of postal ballots in the Sringeri assembly constituency. This recount led to his BJP rival DN Jeevaraj being declared the winner. The Supreme Court will hear the case on Monday. The Congress party plans to pursue the matter further.
