Inpex shuts one LNG train at Australian Ichthys plant due to strike

Japan's Inpex has halted one of two liquefied natural gas production trains at its Ichthys plant in Australia. This closure follows a strike by workers. The disruption is expected to affect exports. Global LNG supplies are already constrained. Japanese utilities are major buyers from the Ichthys project.
