ISRO intern by day, robber at night: Booked in 11 theft cases, techie shoots jeweller in heist attempt in Gujarat's Navsari

Umang Vachhani, an aeronautical engineer who had interned at ISRO and has a record of theft cases, was arrested along with two others for attempting to rob a jewellery shop in Gujarat's Navsari. The shop owner was shot twice when the robbery failed. Investigators traced the accused using CCTV footage, even as they tried to hide their escape trail.
