IAF helicopter rescues 12 stranded overnight by Indravati floods in Chhattisgarh

An Indian Air Force helicopter rescued 12 people stranded by flooding of the Indravati River. The rescue operation followed a distress call regarding civilians trapped in kutcha huts. Doctors at Jagdalpur Medical College are treating flood-affected patients, including children with illnesses. Relief teams are closely monitoring the river levels and providing assistance to affected families. Previous heavy rains in September exacerbated the flooding situation in several villages.
