Haryana: Farmers block highway at Ambala over paddy-procurement restrictions

Farmers organized a protest on the Ambala-Hisar highway regarding paddy procurement issues on Saturday. They demanded an increase in the procurement limit from 26.26 quintals to 32 quintals per acre. Farmers also requested expedited verification of their crops through the required online portal, which affects their sales. Police diverted traffic as farmers maintained their blockade to voice these concerns.
