HAL, French major Safran sign contract for engine turbine forgings

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has signed a long-term agreement with Safran Aircraft Engines. This pact involves producing and supplying turbine ring forgings for the CFM LEAP engine. HAL will manufacture these critical components at its Bengaluru facility. The agreement expands HAL's presence in the international civil aerospace market. This cooperation supports Safran's strategy for ramping up LEAP engine production.
