Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange announced an indefinite hunger strike starting May 30, vowing to protest directly under the summer sun without shelter. He warned the Maharashtra government would be responsible for any health complications, demanding the distribution of Kunbi caste certificates for Marathas.
