First batch of Zimbabwe players leave India after ICC works out alternate air route

Zimbabwe cricketers are finally heading home from India. They were stuck in Delhi after their T20 World Cup campaign. The closure of Gulf airspace due to ongoing conflict disrupted their travel plans. The International Cricket Council arranged alternative flights. The first group of players departed on Wednesday. The remaining players will leave on Friday. Their original route was via Dubai.
