Dishing dosas to hopping temples: US midterm poll candidates reach out to Indian Americans

Candidates in the US midterm elections are appealing to Indian-American voters through food and temple events. The engagement includes cooking dosas by candidates in Texas and celebrating Diwali at temples. Indian-American voters hold significant power in battleground states where every vote counts. These interactions aim to build connections and counter past divisive rhetoric. As a result, candidates are focusing on cultural outreach to strengthen their support.
