Denmark records hottest day on record at 36. 6C: Weather service

Denmark has shattered its all-time temperature record, reaching a scorching 36. 6C north of Odense on Saturday, according to the Danish Meteorological Institute. This surpasses the previous high of 36. 4C set in 1975. The heatwave coincided with the Roskilde music festival, where attendees struggled with the intense heat, prompting the setup of water stations. Meteorologists warned that temperatures might climb even higher as the day progressed.
