Delhi protests: SC says petitioners seeking contempt action against authorities have made out 'prima-facie' case

The Supreme Court has stated that contempt petitioners have established a prima-facie case regarding metro and train service violations. Notices were issued to key officials in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. This action follows a protest initiated by the Cockroach Janta Party against the Chief Election Commissioner. The Delhi Metro closed numerous stations for security reasons after the court's directive for service continuity.
