Delhi gears up for Beating Retreat Ceremony 2026: Date, timing, tickets and traffic restrictions at Vijay Chowk, Kartavya Path, Rafi Marg and more

Beating Retreat Ceremony 2026: Traffic restrictions and diversions will be in force at several locations in New Delhi on Thursday in connection with the Beating Retreat ceremony. Major routes such as Vijay Chowk, Kartavya Path and Rafi Marg will remain shut from 2 pm to 9.30 pm, the Delhi Traffic Police said. The Beating Retreat ceremony will take place on January 29 at the historic Vijay Chowk, officially drawing the curtains on the 77th Republic Day festivities.
