Delhi Ramleela to burn 30-foot cockroach effigy alongside Ravan, Kumbhkaran and Meghnad

A 30-foot cockroach effigy will be displayed at a Ramleela event in Delhi this year. The organizers aim to promote cleanliness while symbolizing filth and dirt through this effigy. Committee president Ashok Goel stated that there is no political motive behind this initiative. The cockroach will represent an asura in Ravan's army during the event. This decision aligns with the Swachh Bharat and Swachh Delhi campaigns for cleanliness.
