Delhi High Court sets aside stay on eviction notice to Delhi Race Club

The Delhi High Court granted the Centre's appeal. An order staying a show-cause notice for the Delhi Race Club's eviction has been set aside. The club faces eviction from its 84-acre Lutyens' Delhi premises. The Centre claims the club is in unauthorised occupation. The lease deed expired in 1994. Proceedings were initiated under the Public Premises Act.
