Decided to bring back to India some persons deported to Bangladesh: Centre to SC

The Indian government will bring back individuals previously deported to Bangladesh. These people will then have their claims of Indian citizenship verified. The Supreme Court was informed of this decision. The process is expected to take about ten days. The court will hear the matter again in July. This move follows a High Court order that termed the deportations illegal.
