DMK MPs meet demands for CEC's removal over SIR row

The DMK parliamentary party meeting under M K Stalin adopted resolutions against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The party claims the Special Intensive Revision process disenfranchised genuine voters and demanded a thorough inquiry. MPs will submit a memorandum to the President of India for scrapping the SIR process. They support ongoing youth movements protesting election discrepancies and criticize Congress and TVK for their double standards.
