Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has invited Congress to discuss the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. He emphasized that the procedure for SIR has been consistently implemented since 1947. Vaishnaw questioned Congress's reversal on topics such as Electronic Voting Machines and ballot papers.
