COP30 draft gives road map to exit fossil fuels a miss

The latest draft has done away with the options that represented different countries and negotiating group positions. The balance between emission reduction, adaptation, and enablers is also missing. The draft calls for countries to accelerate the full implementation of NDCs but omits any language on a road map on transitioning away from fossil fuels.
