Bombay HC directs inclusion of six Goa family members in voter list during SIR

The Bombay High Court affirmed that the Representation of the People Act remains effective during the electoral rolls revision process. It directed the Electoral Registration Officer of Santa Cruz to include the family names in the voter list. The family had applied for a change of address, but their request was initially denied. Following multiple rejections from electoral officials, the court intervened to ensure their voting rights.
