Big relief for MBBS students: NMC directs colleges to collect fees for 4.5 years only, not full course

The National Medical Commission has directed all medical colleges to charge MBBS fees only for the prescribed 4.5 academic years, not the full five or five and a half years. This move aims to prevent fee collection for periods without academic teaching, aligning with the MBBS course structure and Supreme Court directives on reasonable and non-exploitative fee structures.
