BRICS adopts Guwahati Declaration to strengthen fight against drug trafficking

BRICS nations adopted the Guwahati Declaration to strengthen cooperation against illicit drug trafficking. They will enhance information exchange and promote innovative technologies for law enforcement efforts. Concerns were raised regarding synthetic drugs and the misuse of emerging technologies. India called for real-time intelligence sharing and a Zero-Tolerance Policy against drugs. Member countries will work collectively towards a drug-free world and a safer global community.
