Assocham seeks review of bidders' qualificationfor transmission units

Assocham has suggested that the ministry improve technical qualification requirements for companies involved in transmission projects. This proposal aims to ensure that only experienced developers participate in the bidding process. The current framework allows companies to qualify based on broad infrastructure experience, which may delay project execution. The association recommends that qualifications be tailored to project value, voltage class, and complexity.
