Assam polls: BJP to contest 4 of 15 Bodoland Territorial Council seats, challenge for UPPL

The BJP has declared it will contest four seats in the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections, leaving its ally UPPL to negotiate with the senior party BPF for the remaining 11 seats. Meanwhile, the AIUDF has released its first list of nine nominees for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections.
