Assam cabinet expansion on June 5, nearly a month after poll verdict

The Assam council of ministers will see an expansion on June 5. This comes nearly a month after the election results were declared. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and four other ministers took their oath on May 12. The expansion was delayed due to numerous claimants for ministerial berths.
