Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma's wife holds multiple passports, says Congress ahead of polls

The Congress party has leveled serious accusations against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his wife, Riniki Bhuyan Sarma. Documents suggest Riniki Bhuyan Sarma holds three foreign passports from the UAE, Antigua and Barbuda, and Egypt. The party also claims she has failed to disclose overseas assets in election affidavits. Indian law prohibits dual citizenship.
