After Madhya Pradesh High Court nixes 27% OBC quota, Congress says party will challenge verdict in Supreme Court

Congress leaders in Madhya Pradesh have announced their intention to appeal the High Court ruling on OBC reservation. They criticized the BJP government's handling of the court case and lack of proper representation. The court found the increase of OBC reservation unconstitutional due to lack of extraordinary circumstances. Congress emphasized its commitment to implement the 27 percent OBC quota if elected in the future.
