86.11% voter turnout recorded in re-polling at West Bengal's Falta constituency

Voters turned out in large numbers for the Falta Assembly constituency re-poll in South 24 Parganas district. The polling concluded peacefully with an 86.11% turnout by 5 pm. Central forces ensured security across all 285 booths. The Election Commission ordered the re-poll following complaints of malpractices during the initial election on April 29.
