52 Naxalites surrender in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur

Fifty-two Naxalites surrendered in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Forty-nine of them carried a collective bounty exceeding Rs 1.41 crore. The surrendered cadres included 21 women. They joined the mainstream under a rehabilitation initiative. This follows similar surrenders in Sukma and Dantewada districts. Over 1,500 Naxalites have surrendered in the state this year.
