Railway minister reviews MumbaiPune ghat restoration, trains to continue with two locomotives on restored line

Restoration work on the Mumbai-Pune ghat section continues after extensive landslide damage. Trains are currently running on a single restored line using two locomotives. This temporary arrangement will remain in place until all three lines are fully operational. Teams are working round the clock to clear debris and rebuild damaged railway infrastructure. Safety inspections will precede the certification of the section for normal train operations.
