Mumbai demolition flashpoint: 16 arrested, charged with rioting after stone-pelting leaves 5 cops injured

Nirmal Nagar police apprehended sixteen individuals following a violent protest during a demolition drive near Bandra Railway station. A mob of around 150 people turned aggressive, pelting stones and paver blocks at officers for nearly an hour. Five police personnel sustained injuries, including a fractured hand and a broken nose. The situation is now under control, with debris removal underway.
