Maharashtra gives charity hospitals one month to install dashboards, warns of crackdown

Charity hospitals across Maharashtra are required to implement public dashboards within a month. Beginning in August, district authorities will carry out inspections to verify compliance. Hospitals that do not meet these requirements may face government penalties. Additionally, the state will monitor adherence to health insurance schemes and any overcharging issues. This initiative is designed to enhance transparency and facilitate patient access to complimentary medical services.
