Goa liquor being smuggled to Rajasthan seized on Mumbai-Nashik highway; consignment worth Rs 1.90 crore confiscated

Bhiwandi excise officials intercepted a container truck on the Mumbai-Nashik Highway, uncovering an interstate liquor smuggling operation. The truck, disguised as carrying electronics, was found with 1,620 boxes of Goa-marked liquor worth Rs 1.63 crore, destined for Rajasthan. The seizure, totaling Rs 1.90 crore, marks a significant blow to smuggling networks.
