Film technologist Ujwal N. Nirgudkar received Citation Award from Society of Motion Pictures and Television Engineers

Indian film technologist Ujwal N. Nirgudkar received the prestigious SMPTE Citation Award in Pasadena for his four-decade contributions to motion picture technology. A pioneer in sustainable film processing and the first Indian with a US patent in film technology, Nirgudkar's work has significantly benefited the Indian film industry and earned global acclaim.
