BMC polls 2026: Who is Asha Deepak Kale? First Congress candidate to win from Dharavi Ward 183; Ashraf Azmi takes Kurla West

Congress candidate Asha Deepak Kale won Ward 183 in Dharavi by 1,450 votes, defeating Shiv Sena's Vaishali Shewale. The Mumbai civic polls saw a voter turnout of 52.94%, a slight decrease from 2017.
