Uttar Pradesh: Four police personnel booked for assault and extortion

Four police personnel in Uttar Pradeshs Ballia district, including a former station officer, were booked for assault, extortion and intimidation following a CJM court order. The FIR, filed on a complaint by Mantu Yadav, alleges physical assault, verbal abuse and a bribe demand during a night checking drive in February 2024
