UAE Fraud Alert: Three jailed for fake real-estate scam that swindled couple of Dh800,000

Three Arab men were sentenced to six months in jail and ordered to repay Dh800,000 after defrauding a couple through a fake real-estate financing scheme advertised on social media. The court also awarded the victims Dh100,000 in compensation for emotional distress and ordered their deportation.
