Infosys shares jump 2% after Rs 1,300 crore deal to buy Telstras Versent stake

Infosys shares: Infosys will acquire a 75% stake in Versent Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Australias Telstra Group, for AUD 233.25 million (over Rs 1,300 crore). The deal, excluding management incentives and retention bonuses, aims to strengthen Infosyss presence in Australias cloud and AI services market and is expected to close in H2 FY26, pending regulatory approvals.
