The actor spoke about missing the festive celebrations at home while also looking forward to the new professional commitment. In a statement, Rasika said Diwali has always been a special occasion for her to spend time with her family. Diwali has always been a special time to be with family, and I will miss celebrating it with everyone in Mumbai this year. There is something very comforting about being home during the festive season good food, catching up with loved ones, and enjoying all the little traditions that make Diwali feel like Diwali, she said. However, Rasika acknowledged that work commitments sometimes require actors to spend important occasions away from home. She said she was looking forward to filming in Scotland and hoped to bring some of the festive spirit to the sets. But as actors, our work often takes us away from home during these special occasions, and that's all part of the job. I am excited to be shooting my next series in Scotland, and I am hoping to bring a little bit of the festive spirit to the set, she added. Calling it a working Diwali, the actor said she was happy to be doing what she enjoys on an auspicious day. She also noted that film units often find opportunities to celebrate despite busy schedules. It will be a working Diwali, but if you look at it another way, there is nothing better than doing what you love on an auspicious day! And a film unit always finds moments of warmth and celebration, even in the middle of a hectic schedule. I will make up for all the missed family time once I am back in Mumbai! Rasika said. Rasika was recently associated with Mirzapur: The Movie and is known for playing Beena Tripathi in the Mirzapur franchise.
