Other actors were there to help Aneet Padda bring the emotion out, reveals director Karan Kapadia on Hunkkaars all-important testimony scene

For director Karan Kapadia, bringing the emotional intensity of Hunkkaar: The Roars climax to life involved carefully planned shots, fine performances, a little help from music and the presence of all the actors to help a young actress like Aneet Padda to deliver such an emotionally charged scene. In a newly released scene breakdown video, Karan took viewers behind the scenes, sharing how he built the tension and emotional impact of some of the series most powerful moments. Speaking about directing Aneet Padda, Karan revealed how he used music to help her connect with the moment. A fan of composer Ludovico Einaudi, he would often play his compositions on set to help Aneet get into the right emotional space. If Aneet was not feeling it, I would play the track, let her say the entire piece with the music and then do it again, so that she remembered that emotion of what the music was trying to simulate, he shared. Of all the scenes he directed, Karan singled out the climactic sequence and Meenu's testimony as two of his most memorable creative experiences. Climax and Meenus testimony for me were the two best scenes that I've ever been a part of and created. So very, very proud. Gives me goosebumps till today, he shared.
