SC to conduct final hearing on pleas against validity of Bihar SIR on Oct 7

The Supreme Court, amid the Bihar SIR row, said it presumes the Election Commission is following the law in revising electoral rolls. It warned that any illegality would void the exercise. The bench clarified its verdict will apply pan-India and set October 7 for final arguments, allowing challenges on Aadhaar use as well.
