IMD issues cyclone alert in Andaman, predicts heavy rains

Heavy to very heavy rainfall of 720 cm is likely at one or two locations in the Nicobar Islands, while heavy rainfall (711 cm) is also expected in parts of the Andaman Islands, the IMD stated
