'Zero incident, zero accident' target for Kanwar yatra, says up DGP; reviews security preparedness in Meerut

Uttar Pradesh DGP Rajeev Krishna has directed police officers for a safe Kanwar Yatra. He stressed seamless inter-state coordination and robust security measures for pilgrims. Officers must ensure swift dissemination of verified information and counter fake news. Behavioral training and operational briefings are mandated for all deployed personnel. The DGP also inspected security arrangements and inaugurated new facilities in Meerut and Muzaffarnagar.
