Several shops gutted after fire breaks out in Hardoi

A devastating fire ripped through Hardoi's Naveen Vegetable Market early Friday, engulfing half a dozen shops. The blaze, reportedly starting at a sweet shop around 1:30 am, spread rapidly, causing panic and loud explosions from gas cylinders. Firefighters battled the flames for over an hour in the congested lanes.
