Man accused of molesting sisters arrested after police encounter in Uttar Pradesh's Sultanpur

A 27-year-old man, Mohammad Asif, accused of molesting two sisters, was apprehended by Sultanpur police after a late-night encounter. He allegedly fired at the joint police and SOG team near the Ahmat airstrip, prompting a retaliatory shot that injured his leg. Admitted to the hospital, Asif reportedly confessed to the June 9 incident.
