Leopard attacks couple in Bahraich, climbs tree after villagers raise alarm

Tensions escalated in Bahraich as a couple was ambushed by a leopard while strolling through a sugarcane field adjacent to the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary. Displaying extraordinary bravery, they fought back against the fierce predator until villagers arrived on the scene, causing the leopard to retreat to the safety of a tree.
