July power bills cheaper by 4.43% in Uttar Pradesh as FPPAS turns record negative

Uttar Pradesh electricity consumers will see a welcome 4.43% reduction in their July power bills, the largest monthly benefit in 14 months. This comes thanks to a negative Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge (FPPAS), reflecting lower actual power purchase costs.
