Codeine empire busted: Fugitive dealers father arrested at Kolkata airport

Kolkata Police arrested Bhola Prasad, father of Shubham Jaiswal, in a major codeine trafficking probe. Sonbhadra Police shared intelligence that Prasad was attempting to flee the country. Jaiswal is suspected of leading a large cross-border narcotics network. The crackdown intensified after children died due to toxic cough syrup. Investigators are pursuing more arrests.
