Allahabad HC quashes extortion case against businessman in solar project row

The Allahabad High Court quashed all criminal proceedings against businessman Nikant Jain in an extortion and corruption case linked to a solar project. The court found no offence made out under the BNS or Prevention of Corruption Act, as the complainant admitted filing the complaint under a 'wrong impression' and acknowledged no money was paid.
