2.4 crore names dropped from UP poll rolls since SIR announcement; 3.3 crore issued notices for verification

Uttar Pradesh's voter count is nearing 13 crore following a surge in new applications during the 2026 voter roll revision. Despite over 3.26 crore notices issued for verification, the final electoral roll is set for publication on April 10. Deletions, primarily due to migration and self-initiation, have also been processed.
